Fable Book Club & Update

 Good evening everyone! I know I haven’t posted any sort of update or blog post in MONTHS… ๐Ÿ˜… Honestly, it’s been nice having the break! I do want to post more weekly.. 

For updates, if you follow me on instagram then you have seen my reading updates.. So far this year I’ve read 126 books and I’m still counting lol.. Now ANY kind of reading is READING!! Please don’t feel bad if you read way less or way more! Last year I read 203 books but this year I know I won’t get that much in and I am 100% ok with that! Reading for me is fun and a way for me to decompress from stress and anxiety.. 


New book club.. So I have a Patreon and I LOVE it!! But I wanted something that was a public one.. One that anyone could access for FREE.. Lizreads Book Club on Fable

What have you been reading lately? I’m currently in a re reading mode with Madison Kate series by Tate James on my kindle. And today I started Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey in paperback.. I’m really liking it and most likely will finish it this evening..

*This is an in depth review, May contain spoilers* 4/5★ 3/5๐Ÿ”ฅ  Good morning! I finished my first book from Lauren Asher on Friday and I enjoyed it! This is book 1 in the Dreamland Billionaires series. Whoa Rowan, I loved him. He was the definition of a “broken boy” and I loved how Zahra helped him find his passion again for art.. Now what I didn’t like was his constant lying and trying to justify his actions. He felt like he didn’t ever do anything wrong and it costed him his relationship and trust with Zahra over and over again.. I felt that it might’ve been too long after their first argument BUT then everything just started falling into place and I loved the rest of the book.. I did only give this one a 4 star because of the unnecessary conflict.. I’m all for conflict or disagreements but I just felt it was a little over done IMO ๐Ÿ˜’ Now the spice, I was pretty surprised by the spice! Hello. Welcome to my blog Liz Reads Romance. I am so glad you’re here and hope you stay for all my reviews, book mail, etc.. I thought I’d do a intro post as my first post.. I’m Elizabeth. I’m happily married to my best friend for almost 8 years! (Wow doesn’t feel like it’s been that long!) I’m a mama to two littles (6 & 3) and I’m obsessed with reading!! Which shouldn’t be a surprise since this is a book blog lol..  I started reading BIG time again when Covid shut everything down back in 2020.. I needed something that I could do in my free time that helped with my anxiety.. And reading helped that immensely! Since then my genre has changed and grown. I started out with Historical Romance (still love btw) some were spicy but most were fade to black lol.. Since I’ve discovered my love for contemporary and dark romances!
