Southern Wedding Series Review

*In depth review and does contain spoiler.*

4/5🔥
I thought I'd start off my first review on the blog to be my recent series I finished on my Kindle.. I absolutely loved this series so much! Each month I've been trying to find a new author to try. This month being that it is February I thought why not try Natasha Madison out..

The Southern Wedding series start out with Travis and Harlow. We get a short novella that's only available in ebook form.. They meet in college and they fall in love. Travis doesn't want Harlow to choose between her family or him and that ultimately breaks them apart for 4 years.. Mine To Have picks up 4 years after Mine To Kiss leaves off.. Harlow is invited to Travis' wedding and she thinks he's the one that invited her because of the promise she made to him in college. I really loved Travis and Harlow's story. The second chance for the two of them were so good. The banter between the siblings had me laughing so hard throughout this series.

Book 2 Mine To Hold. Wow this one, whew.. Shelby finds out the night before her wedding that her fiance is having a secret relationship with her best friend's girlfriend.. She decides after she tells him it's over and that they won't be getting married to go on her honeymoon with her best friend.. Ace and Shelby's story is so good. Ace has been in love with Shelby since they first met but just never told her because she was with his friend. The massage scene. IYKYK.. That's all I'll say about that lol.. 😏

Book 3 Mine To Cherish. Clarabella is engaged. Her and Luke has a one time thing (or so they think) and then he took off without telling her where he is. So she ended up dating someone else. The night before her wedding she discovers her fiance has a secret girlfriend who also has his baby.. They of course break up and Luke just happens to be at their venue that the wedding was going to be at and helps her leave.. He takes her to his cabin where they end up rekindling their relationship and realize that they do in fact have feelings for each other.

Book 4 Mine To Love.. Presley and Bennet have been in love with each other for 12 years. Presley is determined that she'll NEVER get married. No one is going to change her mind about it. Well when she is faced with a surprise pregnancy her and Bennet's life will change. And no matter how much she tries to push him away, he shows her just how much he loves her. I really love their story. I'm not one for the surprise pregnancy trope. It's not my go to but the way Natasha wrote this I was in love! 😍

I can't wait to read more by Natasha Madison and this entire series will be on my monthly favorites at the end of the month.

Until next time,

Elizabeth

Starting A YouTube Channel

 Hello everyone! I know, I know, I haven’t posted in MONTHS! But for good reason! I didn’t know how I wanted to continue blogging and how I wanted to do my reviews and such. So honestly I just stopped posting all together.. BUT I’m back to make an announcement! I’M STARTING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!! 🎊🎊 I’ve been thinking about it for some time and this year I decided it was the year to do it! I got a Sony ZV-1F  vlogging camera and have been playing around with it and creating little shorts and getting a hang of filming with it.. I am NOT a pro and KNOW I’ll have some learning to do with editing and all but I am so excited!! If you have a YouTube channel what are some tips you can give me? I want to be as comfortable and fun with filming but I know with my depression & anxiety it’ll be a learning curve to overcome..  Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took recently.. This book was AMAZING!! I highly recommend it! Abby Jimenez writes some amazing stories that make you feel li

Welcome!

Hello. Welcome to my blog Liz Reads Romance. I am so glad you’re here and hope you stay for all my reviews, book mail, etc.. I thought I’d do a intro post as my first post.. I’m Elizabeth. I’m happily married to my best friend for almost 8 years! (Wow doesn’t feel like it’s been that long!) I’m a mama to two littles (6 & 3) and I’m obsessed with reading!! Which shouldn’t be a surprise since this is a book blog lol..  I started reading BIG time again when Covid shut everything down back in 2020.. I needed something that I could do in my free time that helped with my anxiety.. And reading helped that immensely! Since then my genre has changed and grown. I started out with Historical Romance (still love btw) some were spicy but most were fade to black lol.. Since I’ve discovered my love for contemporary and dark romances! I first dipped into the contemporary world when I discovered  Kennedy Fox  on Tik Tok. I quickly ordered This Is War & This Is Love from their shop and fell in l

Midnight Mayhem Review {Spoiler free}

  First before I start off my review I just want everyone to know I won’t be posting any spoilers! I feel like this series NEEDS to be read to get all the feels and emotions! Only thing I will say is that it’s a dark romance. And the stories will fuck with your head!😂😂 But in the best way in my opinion!! Wow, it’s all I can say! This is the third series I’ve read by Amo Jones and I become a bigger fan the more I read from her.. Her writing is just amazing! Her stories will fuck with your feelings and mind and I love ALL of her twist and turns! You go in THINKING you know how the story is going to end, and then she throws you for a loop with a twist no one saw coming!!  This series is perfection like her other two series I’ve read (Elite King’s Club, Crowned Duet) and I can’t wait to read more by her!! If you haven’t picked up one of her books, you definitely should!! Until next time, Elizabeth
