Trope Tuesday

 I thought we should start off our first Tuesday with a favorite trope.. I’ll try and continue it each week.. So if you have a favorite trope let me know in the comments!



Our first trope is Enemies To Lovers!!! I am a HUGE sucker for enemies to lovers! Like I LIVE for enemies to lovers lol!! The way they go from hating to loving each other gets me every time! I’ve got pictured just 5 of my FAVORITES! I have MANY more favorites but just wanted to go with my top 5 (even though 2 are technically a duo).

This is War & This Is Love by Kennedy Fox. 

Now when I tell you I love this duet, I mean I fucking love this duet!! This story is spicy and will leave your heart pounding at the end of book 1! This was also my first book to read from Kennedy Fox and I now own EVERY SINGLE book they’ve written! (Now I know they are no longer writing as a duo BUT all of their books will still be available so don’t worry about that.. You can still purchase all of them.)

5 Rounds by Nikki Castle

Wow this one, when I first read it I didn’t know it was her DEBUT novel.. Like holy shit, it’s written so damn well that if she didn’t say that it was her first book I wouldn’t have known!😱 and I’m not being dramatic about it either LOL.. I love everything Nikki has written.. This one I loved and I’ve not watched many MMA fights but still found this one so good.. Tristan and Remy, whew they’re hot as fuck together.. 

Hate by Tate James

I feel like Tate can do no wrong! Like seriously 😂😂 this was the first series I read by Tate, and I can say I’m 100% a forever fan of her writing! She knows how to bring on the spice and the intrigue from the plot! This series was my first taste for dark romance and I can’t get enough of them! Madison Kate series was also my first reverse harem (or why choose depending on how you choose to call it) and wow I love them! 

Thorne Princess by LJ Shen

This was my second book I read by LJ Shen and I loved this one a lot! This is a enemies to lovers/ bodyguard romance with a touch of forbidden because Ransom is Halle’s bodyguard who was hired by Halle’s father (who was the president). They don’t get a long at first and there’s good reason for it on both of their behalf’s.. But ahh I loved this book! The way Ransom helps Halle melted my heart!

The Fine Print Review

*This is an in depth review, May contain spoilers* 4/5★ 3/5🔥  Good morning! I finished my first book from Lauren Asher on Friday and I enjoyed it! This is book 1 in the Dreamland Billionaires series. Whoa Rowan, I loved him. He was the definition of a “broken boy” and I loved how Zahra helped him find his passion again for art.. Now what I didn’t like was his constant lying and trying to justify his actions. He felt like he didn’t ever do anything wrong and it costed him his relationship and trust with Zahra over and over again.. I felt that it might’ve been too long after their first argument BUT then everything just started falling into place and I loved the rest of the book.. I did only give this one a 4 star because of the unnecessary conflict.. I’m all for conflict or disagreements but I just felt it was a little over done IMO 😒 Now the spice, I was pretty surprised by the spice! Midnight Mayhem Review {Spoiler free}

  First before I start off my review I just want everyone to know I won’t be posting any spoilers! I feel like this series NEEDS to be read to get all the feels and emotions! Only thing I will say is that it’s a dark romance. And the stories will fuck with your head!😂😂 But in the best way in my opinion!! Wow, it’s all I can say! This is the third series I’ve read by Amo Jones and I become a bigger fan the more I read from her.. Her writing is just amazing! Her stories will fuck with your feelings and mind and I love ALL of her twist and turns! You go in THINKING you know how the story is going to end, and then she throws you for a loop with a twist no one saw coming!!  This series is perfection like her other two series I’ve read (Elite King’s Club, Crowned Duet) and I can’t wait to read more by her!!
