Hello. Welcome to my blog Liz Reads Romance. I am so glad you’re here and hope you stay for all my reviews, book mail, etc.. I thought I’d do a intro post as my first post..

I’m Elizabeth. I’m happily married to my best friend for almost 8 years! (Wow doesn’t feel like it’s been that long!) I’m a mama to two littles (6 & 3) and I’m obsessed with reading!! Which shouldn’t be a surprise since this is a book blog lol..

I started reading BIG time again when Covid shut everything down back in 2020.. I needed something that I could do in my free time that helped with my anxiety.. And reading helped that immensely! Since then my genre has changed and grown. I started out with Historical Romance (still love btw) some were spicy but most were fade to black lol.. Since I’ve discovered my love for contemporary and dark romances! I first dipped into the contemporary world when I discovered Kennedy Fox on Tik Tok. I quickly ordered This Is War & This Is Love from their shop and fell in love immediately with their characters and the way they write.. And then I started reading others like Kennedy Fox.. Some of my current favorites are Natasha Madison, Marni Mann, Sierra Simone, Lucia Franco, Q.B. Tyler, and SO MANY MORE.. 

And then January 2021 I discovered my absolute love for dark romance when I read the Madison Kate series by Tate James.. And then discovered Amo Jones last year and just love all her writing.. The mindfucks we get with them are just simply amazing. The way she writes is outstanding.. And the way she writes in Mental illness is just perfection..

*This is an in depth review, May contain spoilers* 4/5★ 3/5🔥  Good morning! I finished my first book from Lauren Asher on Friday and I enjoyed it! This is book 1 in the Dreamland Billionaires series. Whoa Rowan, I loved him. He was the definition of a “broken boy” and I loved how Zahra helped him find his passion again for art.. Now what I didn’t like was his constant lying and trying to justify his actions. He felt like he didn’t ever do anything wrong and it costed him his relationship and trust with Zahra over and over again.. I felt that it might’ve been too long after their first argument BUT then everything just started falling into place and I loved the rest of the book.. I did only give this one a 4 star because of the unnecessary conflict.. Starting A YouTube Channel

 Hello everyone! I know, I know, I haven’t posted in MONTHS! But for good reason! I didn’t know how I wanted to continue blogging and how I wanted to do my reviews and such. So honestly I just stopped posting all together.. BUT I’m back to make an announcement! I’M STARTING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!! 🎊🎊 I’ve been thinking about it for some time and this year I decided it was the year to do it! I got a Sony ZV-1F  vlogging camera and have been playing around with it and creating little shorts and getting a hang of filming with it.. I am NOT a pro and KNOW I’ll have some learning to do with editing and all but I am so excited!! If you have a YouTube channel what are some tips you can give me? I want to be as comfortable and fun with filming but I know with my depression & anxiety it’ll be a learning curve to overcome..  Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took recently..
